TOP AWARDS FOR L'ACHÉRON & IL GIARDINO ARMONICO
Two artists from the Outhere Music label have been honoured this Sunday, 29 October in Hamburg at the 2017 edition of the Echo Klassik awards.
Discovered in 2014 by Jérôme Lejeune, the artistic director of the Ricercar label, the Achéron ensemble directed by gambist François-Joubert- Caillet received an award in the category
Symphonic Recording (Music up to and Including 18th Century)
for their album devoted to the Overtures of Johann Bernhard Bach.

Involved since 2014 in an ambitious project to record the complete Haydn symphonies, which will be completed in 2032, Il Giardino Armonico and the director and flautist Giovanni Antonioni have not forgotten their first love for Baroque music. The ensemble received an award in the category
Concert Recording (Music up to and Including 18th Century)
for their album of music for the flute by Georg Philipp Telemann released by the prestigious French label Alpha Classics.
